Teal started working in creative placemaking almost eight years ago after an initial career in Communications and Advertising. She cofounded and is now the Executive Director of a small nonprofit in Chattanooga, TN called Glass House Collective. Her organization is utilizing arts and culture to shape the physical, social and economic future of East Chattanooga along Glass Street. She’s passionate about taking action —large or small— to create relationships with neighbors in the community she’s working in. Teal also cofounded the UNFoundation, a micro grant-making organization that funds cool ideas for Chattanooga.
